PRT Art and Craft Teacher Position at Singhal Stars School in Mansa

Daily Responsibilities
Plan and conduct daily Art and Craft sessions tailored to students’ developmental stages. Prepare simple yet impactful projects using available materials, ensuring safety and cleanliness in the classroom. Assess students’ progress through observations and informal feedback during activities. Collaborate with the Art and Craft teacher to maintain a well-stocked, organized craft room with diverse supplies.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop lesson plans that integrate cultural themes, seasonal activities, and thematic units to keep students motivated. Participate in school-wide events like art exhibitions, craft fairs, and inter-house competitions to showcase students’ work. Work closely with the principal and subject coordinators to ensure alignment with the school’s curriculum and pedagogical goals. Attend regular staff meetings and professional development workshops to refine teaching methods.
Periodic Responsibilities
Prepare monthly progress reports on students’ artistic growth, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement. Organize periodic craft workshops or guest artist sessions to enrich students’ learning experiences. Ensure compliance with school policies on resource management, waste reduction, and maintaining a safe learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a focus on Art and Craft education. Possess a TET/CTET certificate as an advantage. A graduate degree in relevant subjects is mandatory. Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in an elementary school setting, is required. Strong communication skills, creativity, and patience are essential for engaging diverse learners.
Salary and Location
