Leadership opportunity
This NTT English Teacher position at Amity International School offers an early leadership path for educators ready to shape young minds and guide peers. Potential to step into Head of Department (HOD) roles within two years based on performance and initiative. The role balances classroom teaching with mentoring responsibilities for junior staff.
Strategic responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging English lessons for Nursery to Upper Kindergarten levels at Amity International School, Sas Nagar. Lead curriculum development for phonics, vocabulary, and storytelling modules aligned with early childhood standards. Mentor and support newly joined NTT teachers in lesson planning and classroom management.
Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to junior faculty. Organize monthly English language events like recitation competitions and storytelling sessions for parents and students. Collaborate with senior leadership on academic policies and early literacy initiatives.
Monitor student progress through anecdotal records and suggest interventions for language development. Partner with parents during PTMs to reinforce learning at home. Integrate digital tools like interactive rhyme apps and phonics games into daily teaching.
What you bring
Graduation degree with B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution. Minimum two years of teaching experience in pre-primary English classrooms. Familiarity with phonics-based teaching methods and early childhood pedagogy.
Strong communication skills in English and Hindi to interact with students and parents. Ability to create visual aids, flashcards, and low-cost teaching materials for young learners. Prior mentoring experience or leadership in school events is preferred.

Fast track to Head of Department (HOD) English for Nursery and Kindergarten within two years for high performers.
