Ms Ananda Global School in Gidderbaha, Sri Muktsar Sahib is looking for a dedicated PRT Science Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The role focuses on delivering engaging science lessons to students in a supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age‑appropriate science lessons that align with the state curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and laboratory activities to enhance student understanding.
- Conduct experiments and demonstrate practical applications of scientific concepts.
- Assess student performance through quizzes, projects, and lab reports, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe and organized laboratory, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects and school events.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and curriculum reviews.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Keep accurate records of attendance, grades, and classroom materials.
- Mentor and support new teachers in their initial teaching period.
- Contribute to the school’s extracurricular science clubs and competitions.
Qualification, experience, salary, location
Graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed, 2 years of teaching experience, and a strong command of science concepts. TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory. The position offers a competitive salary of Rs.15,000 – Rs.24,000 per month and is located in Gidderbaha, Sri Muktsar Sahib, Punjab.
