About This Role
In this vital role, the Dance Teacher will be an integral part of the administration team at Presidency School Ajmer, overseeing the school's dance department, curriculum, and activities. With a focus on developing and implementing dance programs, this role demands a strong passion for dance, leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of dance education. The successful candidate will lead the dance department, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.

Day-to-Day Duties
1. Oversee the dance curriculum and programs at Presidency School Ajmer, ensuring alignment with the school's vision and goals.
2. Develop and implement dance-related policies, procedures, and standards to ensure effective management of the department.
3. Lead and manage the dance faculty, providing guidance and support in instructional design and delivery.
4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to dance education, incorporating music, drama, and other related arts.
5. Plan and coordinate dance performances, exhibitions, and events, both within and outside the school.
6. Foster partnerships with local dance schools, institutions, and dance organizations to enhance the school's dance programs.
7. Develop and maintain databases, records, and reports related to dance student performance, progress, and achievements.
8. Manage the dance budget, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of resources.

Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate must hold a B.Ed./D.El.Ed. qualification, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a dance-related role. Preference will be given to candidates with TET/CTET certification, although it is not mandatory. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, are essential for this position.
