Key Responsibilities
As a TGT Chemistry Teacher at Global International School, your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and delivering lesson plans that cater to different learning levels and abilities
- Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and participation
- Developing and implementing assessment strategies that measure student learning and progress
- Providing individualized support and accommodations for students with special needs
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs
- Maintaining accurate student records and communicating with parents and guardians as needed
- Staying up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in Chemistry education
- Demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development and growth
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Chemistry or related field
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- Valid TET or CTET certification (not required, but preferred)
- 2 years of teaching experience in Chemistry, preferably in a school setting
- Strong subject matter expertise and pedagogical knowledge
Preferred Skills
- Experience with inclusive pedagogy and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
- Patience and empathy when working with students who require extra support
- Strong organizational and time management skills
