Academic Counsellor Job in Churu, Rajasthan | School Vacancy
Bal Bharti International School | Sujangarh invites applications for an Academic Counsellor to support student development and school leadership in Sujangarh, Churu, Rajasthan. The role focuses on academic guidance, student support, and administrative coordination within a full‑time capacity.
Responsibilities
1. Design and implement individual academic plans for students, ensuring alignment with school objectives and student goals.
2. Conduct regular counselling sessions, workshops, and seminars for students, parents, and faculty on academic progression and career choices.
3. Analyze student performance data to identify trends, gaps, and intervention needs, and recommend actionable strategies to senior management.
4. Collaborate with school leadership to integrate counselling initiatives into the overall educational framework and policy development.
5. Maintain accurate records of student progress, counselling sessions, and intervention outcomes, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with school protocols.
6. Provide mentorship and support to students facing academic, emotional, or social challenges, facilitating referrals to external resources when necessary.
7. Participate in school meetings, committees, and professional development activities to stay current with best practices in academic counselling.
Qualification
A graduate degree is required, with a strong background in educational psychology, counselling, or related fields preferred. Candidates should possess at least 2 years of experience in a similar non‑teaching administrative or leadership role within an educational setting. TET/CTET certification is not mandatory for this position.
Salary
The compensation for this Academic Counsellor position ranges from Rs.15,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
