About This Role
Gurukul Global School is inviting applications for the position of TGT Social Science Teacher in Sardarshar, Churu. This full-time role requires a postgraduate with at least 4 years of teaching experience in Social Science at the secondary level. The position is designed to deliver structured lessons aligned with CBSE curriculum expectations.
Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and deliver Social Science lessons for classes 6 to 10.
Prepare daily lesson plans and maintain teaching notes for each topic.
Assess student understanding through regular tests and assignments.
Organize classroom activities that promote interactive learning.
Conduct remedial sessions for students needing extra support.
Maintain accurate attendance and academic records.
Participate in subject-specific faculty meetings.
Contribute to school events such as social science fairs and quizzes.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
Postgraduate degree in Social Science (History, Geography, Political Science, Economics).
B.Ed or D.El.Ed with at least 4 years of teaching experience in Social Science.
Good to Have
CTET qualification preferred.
Experience in CBSE-affiliated schools is an added advantage.
