Role Summary
The NTT English Teacher will deliver developmentally appropriate English lessons to nursery and kindergarten students. Daily planning and creative storytelling are essential to nurture listening, speaking, and pre-reading abilities in a playful classroom environment.
Who You Will Teach
You will work with children from diverse backgrounds—local Rajasthani families and defense personnel relocated to Hanumanganh—whose home languages vary widely. Many students are first-generation English learners, so patience and multisensory teaching methods are key.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct daily English activities that include phonics, vocabulary building, and simple conversations.
Prepare teaching-learning materials using locally available resources and digital aids.
Organize monthly parent-teacher meetings to share each child’s progress in English.
Collaborate with other NTT teachers to align themes and reinforce language across activities.
Participate in school festivals and community events to showcase students’ English skills.
Maintain clean, child-friendly classrooms with labeled English displays.
Attend staff meetings and contribute ideas to improve early English literacy initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduation from a recognized university.
Diploma in Early Childhood Education (NTT/D.El.Ed) or B.Ed with NTT specialization.
Minimum 2 years of experience teaching English to pre-primary children.
Familiarity with local Rajasthani culture and defense-school routines is advantageous.
