Conduct interactive sessions, including group discussions and practical examples, to enhance student engagement. Monitor student progress daily and note areas needing extra attention.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Implement innovative teaching methods like visual aids, games, and project-based learning to make mathematics relatable. Collaborate with other teachers to develop cross-subject activities that reinforce mathematical skills. Attend weekly staff meetings to discuss teaching strategies and curriculum updates. Participate in school events like science fairs and math competitions to promote subject interest.
Periodic Responsibilities
Assist in organizing term-end examinations and mock tests to assess student understanding. Prepare supplementary study materials, such as worksheets and revision notes, for students requiring additional practice. Conduct parent-teacher interactions to discuss student performance and areas for improvement.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification to qualify for the PRT position. Minimum three years of teaching experience in mathematics at the elementary level is essential. While TET/CTET is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary of Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000, depending on performance and experience.
