Role Summary
This is a senior English department role at Good Day Defense School in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan. The position carries curriculum ownership and departmental leadership responsibilities. It is suited to an experienced English Teacher looking to step into a mentoring and academic stewardship capacity.
What You Will Do
Plan and deliver the full TGT English syllabus for Grades 6 to 10 in line with CBSE guidelines. Design differentiated lesson plans that cater to students from defense families posted in Hanumangarh. Monitor quarterly unit tests, term-end exams, and board preparation cycles across three sections per grade.
Mentor two junior English Teachers, conduct weekly co-planning sessions, and share resource packs aligned with Good Day Defense School’s pedagogy. Guide students appearing for national Olympiads in English, including the Unified Cyber Olympiad and English Olympiad Foundation.
Analyze past three years’ Class 10 English board results and propose interventions for lifting average scores above 85%. Organize inter-house declamation, essay writing, and reading campaigns to foster language skills beyond textbooks. Serve as the first point of contact for parents on English subject concerns.
Who Can Apply
Postgraduate in English with B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized Indian university. Minimum five years of classroom teaching experience in TGT English. CTET or TET qualified candidates will be preferred. Prior exposure to defense school setup is desirable but not mandatory.
Learning and Development
Eligible candidates will be considered for Vice Principal track after two years of successful department leadership. Good Day Defense School sponsors leadership training workshops in Rajasthan through state council and private partners. Annual English pedagogy conferences in Jaipur and Delhi are supported for paper presentation or attendance.
Perks and Pay
Fixed monthly salary between Rs.25,000 and Rs.40,000 based on experience and interview performance. In-house transport from key points in Hanumangarh city is provided.
