Role introduction
Vardhman International School seeks a seasoned professional to lead the dance department, ensuring vibrant performances and cultural programs across the campus. This full‑time position requires a graduate with at least five years of experience in dance leadership and event coordination.
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee all school dance events, including annual cultural festivals and inter‑school competitions.
- Coordinate rehearsal schedules, manage logistics, and ensure timely execution of performances.
- Mentor and guide student groups, fostering creative expression and teamwork.
- Liaise with parents, alumni, and community partners to secure support and sponsorships.
- Maintain equipment inventory, arrange for rental or purchase of props, and ensure safety standards.
- Develop marketing materials and promote events through school channels and local media.
- Evaluate program outcomes, prepare reports, and recommend improvements for future editions.
Qualification – Must Have
- Graduate degree in any field.
- Minimum five years experience in dance management or event coordination.
- Proven leadership in organizing large‑scale performances.
Good to Have
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification.
- TET/CTET certification preferred for administrative credibility.
Skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, parents, and external partners.
- Creative vision for integrating dance into school culture.
Salary and location
Competitive package of Rs.20,000 – Rs.35,000 per month, based on experience. Position based in Jaipur, Rajasthan at Vardhman International School.
