Contribute to curriculum development by introducing new electives in behavioural economics, financial economics, and environmental economics. Update course content based on emerging trends in economic theory and empirical research.
Participate in departmental and university-level committees related to academic planning, examination reforms, and student mentoring. Represent Jecrc University at state and national academic forums.
Organize guest lectures, panel discussions, and research colloquia in collaboration with industry experts and visiting scholars. Foster a culture of intellectual curiosity and critical inquiry among students.
Collaborate with faculty across disciplines such as Business Administration, Law, and Public Policy to develop interdisciplinary projects and joint publications.
Serve as a resource person for government and industry consultations on economic policy issues affecting Rajasthan. Share research insights with policymakers through policy briefs and expert talks.
Maintain active engagement with the Indian Economic Association and other professional bodies to stay updated on academic trends and funding opportunities.
Eligibility Criteria
A Ph.D. in Economics from a recognized university is mandatory for the position of Professor at Jecrc University. Candidates must have a consistently strong record of research publications in peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus or Web of Science.
Post-doctoral research experience or ongoing projects in applied economics is highly desirable. Prior experience in guiding doctoral students and serving as a principal investigator on funded projects will be given preference.
Candidates with UGC-NET with JRF or equivalent national eligibility (such as CSIR-NET) are preferred, especially if the Ph.D. is in a specialized field. Fluency in both English and Hindi is essential for effective teaching and research dissemination.
