Day-to-Day Duties
As a Professor of Political Science, your day-to-day duties will include:
* Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Political Science, including lectures, seminars, and tutorials
* Conducting research in the field of Political Science and publishing papers in peer-reviewed journals
* Supervising postgraduate students working on master's level courses and project guidance
* Evaluating student performance and providing feedback
* Participating in academic administration, including committee work and departmental meetings
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop new courses and programs
* Engaging with industry and community partners to develop practical applications of Political Science
Postgraduate Students
As a Professor of Political Science, you will be responsible for guiding postgraduate students working on master's level courses and project guidance. Your expertise and mentorship will help students develop their research skills and produce high-quality theses and projects. You will also be expected to provide feedback and guidance to students on their academic progress and research proposals.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this position, you must have a Ph.D. in Political Science with at least 55% marks. Alternatively, if you have a Master's degree in Political Science with a NET/SLET qualification, you may also apply. You should also have a strong track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals and a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience at the university level.
