- Conduct workshops and training sessions on mental health, stress management, and conflict resolution.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans that promote emotional intelligence and social skills.
- Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions and progress reports.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure a safe and supportive school environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and school administrators to ensure a collaborative approach to student support.
- Provide crisis intervention and support in cases of bullying, harassment, or other traumatic events.
- Attend meetings with school administrators to discuss student progress and mental health issues.
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a school setting or a mental health organization.
- Good understanding of child and adolescent development, psychology, and education.
- Familiarity with counseling theories and techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Leadership skills to motivate and guide students, teachers, and parents.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
