Teaching Responsibilities

Utilize interactive teaching methods to make complex biological concepts accessible and appealing to diverse learners.
Curriculum and Assessment
Oversee the implementation of biology programs, ensuring alignment with school and state board standards. Collaborate with subject specialists to refine teaching strategies and assessment techniques. Evaluate student performance through continuous feedback, quizzes, and project-based assessments to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
Student Support and Mentorship
Act as a mentor to biology students, providing guidance on academic and career aspirations. Foster a supportive learning environment where students can ask questions, explore scientific inquiry, and develop critical thinking skills. Encourage participation in science clubs, competitions, and extracurricular activities to nurture a passion for biology.
Coordination and Collaboration
Work closely with the science department to coordinate biology-related events, workshops, and guest lectures. Represent the school at local educational forums, conferences, or workshops related to biology education. Maintain open communication with parents to share progress reports, updates on student achievements, and ways to support their children’s learning.
Administrative Duties
Prepare and submit regular reports on student progress, attendance, and classroom activities.
