A Psychological Counsellor at Modi World School will play a pivotal role in supporting students’ mental health and emotional well-being. The position involves designing and implementing counseling programs that address academic stress, social challenges, and personal development. Working closely with school leadership and parents, the counsellor ensures a safe and supportive environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for students facing emotional or behavioral challenges.
Collaborate with teachers and administrators to identify students needing intervention or support.
Organize workshops on stress management, study skills, and mental health awareness for students and parents.
Maintain confidential records of student interactions and progress in accordance with school policies.
Coordinate with external mental health professionals for referrals when specialized support is required.
Develop and implement age-appropriate programs that promote positive mental health across all grades.
Assist in crisis intervention and provide immediate support during critical incidents within the school.
Train staff on recognizing early signs of mental health issues and appropriate response strategies.
Who Can Apply
Must Have
Postgraduate degree in Psychology or Counselling with a specialization in child or adolescent psychology.
Minimum 5 years of experience in school counseling or related mental health fields.
Familiarity with child development and adolescent behavioral patterns.
Good to Have
Experience working in a school environment in Rajasthan.
