Mathematics (NTT) Vacancy in Sikar, Rajasthan
SHEKHAWATI INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY, LOSAL
Job Description
Role Summary
Shekhawati International Academy, Losal is looking for an NTT Mathematics Teacher to shape the foundational skills of young learners in Sikar’s growing student community. The right teacher will guide students through the joy of numbers and patterns, building confidence before they move to higher classes. Your daily effort will help students see Mathematics not as a subject but as a tool they already use every day.
Classroom Profile
You will teach Mathematics to Nursery to Upper Kindergarten classes at Shekhawati International Academy, Losal. Each class has 25–30 children from families across Sikar and nearby villages. Lessons must be delivered through stories, games, and hands-on activities that make abstract concepts tangible for five- to seven-year-olds.
Key Responsibilities
Develop age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the NTT curriculum and local board expectations. Introduce counting, shapes, patterns, and basic addition through daily activities so children discover Mathematics in their surroundings.
Prepare teaching aids using low-cost materials—beads, blocks, flash cards—so every child participates without pressure. Maintain a Mathematics corner in each classroom with rotating displays of shapes, puzzles, and counting charts to reinforce learning beyond the lesson.
Conduct monthly parent interactions to show progress and suggest simple Mathematics activities parents can do at home. Keep records of each child’s small wins—recognition notes, stickers, or a class “Math Star” board—to motivate the group.
Assess understanding through informal observations and playful quizzes rather than written tests. Provide individual support to children who need extra time with numbers, shapes, or sequencing.
Coordinate with the pre-primary team to integrate Mathematics into storytelling, songs, and outdoor play so the subject feels alive all day.
Who Can Apply
Graduates with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution are eligible. Candidates with two years of experience in early childhood Mathematics teaching will be preferred. Familiarity with the local Rajasthani school environment is an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
Fluency in Hindi and basic English for smooth classroom communication. Patience to repeat concepts without frustration and creativity to turn everyday objects into teaching tools.
Ability to work in a team with nursery and kindergarten teachers, and to attend occasional training sessions at Shekhawati International Academy, Losal.
Salary and Benefits
Monthly salary ranges from Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000 based on qualifications and experience. Benefits include school holidays as per the Rajasthan government calendar, access to teaching resources, and professional development support.
