PGT Philosophy Teacher Position at Narayana Educational Institute in Udaipur
Teaching Philosophy at Narayana Educational Institute in Udaipur requires a passionate scholar to guide students through the depth of philosophical thought. This role involves shaping young minds with a strong foundation in ethical reasoning, critical analysis, and historical perspectives of philosophy. Daily Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging classroom sessions covering core philosophy topics like ethics, metaphysics, and epistemology. Prepare detailed lesson plans that align with curriculum standards while encouraging student participation. Use interactive methods such as debates, discussions, and case studies to enhance learning. Ensure students understand key concepts through clear explanations and practical examples.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update teaching resources, including syllabus materials, worksheets, and assignments tailored to different student levels. Assess student progress through regular quizzes, projects, and exams to track understanding and identify areas needing improvement. Collaborate with the philosophy department to integrate interdisciplinary connections, such as philosophy in social sciences or literature. Participate in departmental meetings to discuss curriculum enhancements and student performance trends.
Periodic Responsibilities
Attend workshops or seminars related to philosophy pedagogy to stay updated on teaching methods and educational trends. Organize guest lectures or guest speaker sessions featuring renowned philosophers or scholars to enrich student learning. Review and submit periodic reports on student performance and classroom activities to the academic management for review and feedback.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Philosophy or a related discipline with at least two years of teaching experience. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory for this role. Experience in teaching Philosophy at the senior secondary level is highly preferred. A valid TET/CTET certificate is an advantage but not mandatory for this position.
This role offers a competitive salary of Rs.40,000 to Rs.70,000 per month, along with a location in the scenic city of Udaipur, Rajasthan. The position is full-time and based at Narayana Educational Institute.
