Job Title
TGT Mathematics Teacher – Coimbatore North, Coimbatore
Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging mathematics lessons for classes IX to XII, aligning with CBSE guidelines and state syllabus. Prepare lesson plans, worksheets and assessment tools that cater to varied learner abilities. Conduct regular remedial sessions and foster analytical thinking through problem‑solving activities. Participate in departmental meetings, parent‑teacher interactions and school events at National Model Schools | Tamil Nadu.
Key Duties
Create periodic test papers, evaluate answer scripts and maintain accurate academic records. Mentor students for mathematics Olympiads and inter‑school competitions. Incorporate digital tools and interactive boards to make concepts clearer. Support junior faculty and assist in curriculum updates as part of the School TGT Mathematics Opening.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Mathematics or related discipline with B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification. Preference given to candidates holding TET or CTET qualifications. Minimum of four years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably handling senior secondary mathematics.
Experience
Four years of proven experience delivering mathematics curriculum in a reputable school. Demonstrated ability to improve student performance and manage classroom dynamics effectively.
Salary
Rs.25,000 - Rs.35,000 per month
