Job Overview
We invite applications for a full-time PGT Psychology Teacher to join our academic team at Wonder School, Tirunelveli. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Psychology to students from Class 6 to 12 and contributing to the development of our Psychology curriculum.
What You Will Do
- Design and deliver engaging Psychology lessons to students from Class 6 to 12
- Develop and implement assessment strategies to evaluate student learning outcomes
- Conduct regular progress meetings with students to identify areas of improvement
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and review Psychology curriculum
- Provide guidance and support to students on their academic and personal development
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school events
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Psychology education and incorporate new ideas into teaching practices
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and motivation
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must possess a postgraduate degree in Psychology (M.A./M.Sc.) and a valid B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. certification. A minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching Psychology in a school setting is also required. Preference will be given to candidates with a valid TET/CTET certificate.
