PGT Geography Teacher Position at Sri R.M. Jain Matriculation School in Tiruvallur
Sri R.M. Jain Matriculation School invites experienced Geography teachers to join as a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Tiruvallur. This role involves shaping young minds with a deep understanding of physical, human, and environmental geography, ensuring engaging and curriculum-aligned lessons.
Plan and deliver high-quality geography lessons covering syllabus topics like climate, ecosystems, human settlements, and resource management. Develop interactive teaching methods to cater to diverse learning abilities and encourage critical thinking among students. Assess student performance through continuous evaluation, aligning with school assessment practices. Collaborate with subject coordinators to refine teaching strategies and support academic growth. Maintain updated teaching resources, including maps, diagrams, and multimedia tools, to enhance classroom instruction. Represent the school at geography-related events, workshops, or competitions to promote subject excellence.
A master’s degree in Geography or a related field with at least two years of teaching experience is essential. Holding a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory, while TET/CTET certification is beneficial.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000 per month in Tiruvallur, Tamilnadu.
