Key Responsibilities
Plan and organize music-related activities, concerts, and festivals, handling logistics, budgeting, and resource allocation. Liaise with external vendors, artists, and cultural organizations to secure collaborations and sponsorships.
Maintain inventory of musical instruments, equipment, and teaching aids, ensuring timely maintenance and procurement. Prepare and manage the department’s annual budget, monitor expenditures, and report financial status to senior management.
Develop and implement policies for student participation, safety, and equipment usage. Keep accurate records of student enrollment, attendance, and performance assessments, and generate periodic reports for the school administration.
Assist in marketing the music program through newsletters, social media updates, and community outreach, aiming to increase enrollment and community engagement.
Support the principal and senior staff in strategic planning for extracurricular development, providing insights on trends and opportunities in the arts sector.
Qualifications and Experience
A graduate degree is essential, with a preference for candidates holding B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Candidates should possess at least five years of relevant experience in music program administration or a similar capacity within an educational setting.
Salary
The position offers a salary range of Rs.18,000 - Rs.35,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
