Sri Vidhatri World School in Himayatnagar, Hyderabad, is seeking a dedicated NTT Evs Teacher to inspire young minds with hands-on environmental science learning. Role
You will design and lead NTT (National Teacher Training) Evs Teacher activities, ensuring students grasp ecological concepts through real-world applications. Collaboration with school staff and parents will enhance the impact of these initiatives. Your role will emphasize hands-on learning, ensuring students leave with practical skills in environmental stewardship.
Responsibilities
Teach Evs (Environmental Studies) lessons using NTT-certified teaching methods, adapting content for diverse learning levels. Develop lesson plans that combine theory with field-based experiments, such as waste management or renewable energy demos. Work closely with the school’s NTT coordinator to align your activities with the curriculum’s experiential learning goals. Engage parents through workshops or parent-teacher meetings to foster community involvement in environmental causes.
Qualification
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a focus on science or environmental education. A graduate degree in relevant fields (science, biology, environmental science) is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position. Experience in teaching Evs or science subjects in schools is highly valued.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in Evs, science, or environmental education. Familiarity with NTT guidelines and school-based experiential learning programs is advantageous. Experience in organizing school events, workshops, or community projects will be beneficial. Knowledge of local environmental issues in Hyderabad will be a plus.
Compensation
This full-time NTT Evs Teacher position offers a competitive salary of Rs.14,000 to Rs.22,000 per month, along with perks tailored to the school’s commitment to teacher development.
