Responsibilities
Teach Economics to students in Class 9 to 12, covering syllabus topics such as macro and microeconomics, financial literacy, and contemporary economic issues. Develop engaging lesson plans that blend theoretical concepts with real-world applications, using interactive methods like case studies and group discussions.
Assist in designing and implementing assessment strategies, including projects and exams, to evaluate students’ understanding of economic concepts. Collaborate with the economics department to update teaching materials and integrate modern pedagogical techniques.
Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and extracurricular activities to strengthen the school-community connection. Ensure compliance with curriculum guidelines and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student learning needs.
Requirements
Hold a postgraduate degree in Economics with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum two years of teaching experience in Economics or related subjects at the secondary level is essential.
Experience in teaching Class 9 to 12 Economics is preferred, along with a strong command of the CBSE/NCERT syllabus. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, a valid teaching eligibility certificate will be an added advantage.
Possess excellent communication skills, both in English and regional languages, to facilitate inclusive classroom interactions. Demonstrate a commitment to fostering critical thinking and ethical values in students.
Compensation
The successful candidate will be offered a full-time Economics Teaching Job in Himayatnagar, Hyderabad, with a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 35,000.
