Prepare interactive lesson plans that align with school curriculum while encouraging critical thinking on topics like climate change and biodiversity. Collaborate with teachers to organize school-wide projects, such as tree plantation drives or cleanliness campaigns, to instill eco-conscious habits among students.
Ensure students understand basic environmental concepts through practical examples relevant to Uttar Pradesh’s regional context, like water conservation in Lakhimpur’s arid regions. Maintain student records and participate in parent-teacher interactions to share progress in environmental education. Stay updated on government and NTT guidelines for sustainable practices in schools.
Qualification
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) degree. Possess a valid TET/CTET certificate preferred but not mandatory for this role. A graduate degree in any discipline is essential.
Experience
Minimum two years of teaching experience at the elementary level, preferably in schools with a focus on environmental education. Experience working with junior students and designing curriculum-based activities is highly valued.
Salary and Employment Type
