PGT Physics Teacher Job in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment
The reality of this role
This is a hands-on teaching position at Raj English School where you will handle Physics for classes 11 and 12 daily. Expect to set up lab experiments, mark notebooks, and prepare students for board exams with a mix of theory and practicals. Raj English School follows the UP board pattern, so your lessons must align with the prescribed syllabus and exam format.
What you will actually do
Prepare lesson plans for Mechanics, Optics, Thermodynamics, and Modern Physics every week.
Conduct two lab sessions per week and maintain stock registers for apparatus.
Take attendance, track unit-wise progress, and submit monthly reports to the coordinator.
Set and evaluate test papers, homework, and assignments with clear marking schemes.
Organize remedial classes for students scoring below 40 percent in unit tests.
Participate in PTMs and explain Physics concepts to parents in simple language.
Assist in organizing the annual science exhibition at Raj English School.
Attend staff meetings and contribute ideas for improving Physics lab infrastructure.
Who can do this job
Post-graduate in Physics with B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory.
Minimum three years of teaching Physics at senior secondary level required.
TET or CTET is preferred but not compulsory for this position.
What you need to bring
Strong command over UP board Physics syllabus and exam patterns.
Ability to explain abstract concepts like electrostatics and semiconductor physics using local examples.
Patience to repeat explanations for students who struggle with numerical problems.
Willingness to stay after school hours for lab setup or remedial sessions.
What you get in return
Rs.32,000 to Rs.55,000 per month based on experience and qualifications.
