About Raj English School

Raj English School sits on a bustling stretch of Bhelupur Road in Varanasi, just a short walk from the ghats of the Ganges. The campus is modest but well‑kept, with bright classrooms, a small library stocked with both Indian and international titles, and a playground that doubles as a space for cultural events. The administration runs on a fairly flat hierarchy; principals and senior staff are approachable and expect teachers to take ownership of their classes while collaborating on school‑wide initiatives. There is a genuine sense that every member of the faculty is part of a close‑knit team, and ideas are welcomed whether they come from a veteran teacher or someone newly arrived from another state.

The student body is a mix of children from the historic neighborhoods of Varanasi and families who have moved to the city for work. Most students speak Hindi at home, but English is the language of instruction, so they are eager to improve their fluency and confidence. Parents are actively involved, often attending school functions, volunteering in the classroom, and expecting regular communication about their child’s progress. The community values education as a pathway to broader opportunities, and you will find a respectful, inquisitive atmosphere in the corridors.

Academically the school follows the UPMSP curriculum with an emphasis on critical thinking and practical application. Lessons are expected to go beyond textbook drills; teachers are encouraged to incorporate projects, debates, and field trips that connect learning to the cultural richness of Varanasi. Assessment is a blend of periodic tests and continuous evaluation, giving teachers room to track growth and intervene early. The school provides basic resources such as a computer lab and modest science equipment, and it is gradually expanding its digital tools, so a willingness to experiment with new methods is appreciated.

A teacher who thrives here is someone who enjoys building relationships with students and parents, is comfortable adapting lesson plans to a diverse classroom, and is open to sharing responsibilities beyond the classroom—whether that means leading a club, organizing a community outreach program, or mentoring a junior colleague. If you appreciate working in a setting where tradition meets modern aspirations, and you are ready to contribute to a school that values steady improvement over flash, Raj English School could be a place where your professional journey finds both challenge and support.
