Day-to-Day Duties
As a senior Physics department member, the selected candidate will be responsible for:
* Curriculum ownership: Design and implement engaging Physics lessons for classes IX to XII.
* Mentoring junior staff: Provide guidance and support to TGT Physics and PGT Physics teachers.
* Board results: Analyze and improve Physics performance in board exams.
* Lesson planning: Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with CBSE guidelines.
* Assessment and evaluation: Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to track student progress.
* Extracurricular activities: Organize and participate in Physics-related extracurricular activities.
* Departmental meetings: Attend and contribute to Physics department meetings.
* Staff development: Collaborate with the Vice Principal to plan staff development programs.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a B.Ed degree, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching Physics at a senior secondary school. A postgraduate degree in Physics (M.Sc or M.A.) is preferred. NET or SET qualifications are also highly valued.
