PRT Dance Teacher Position at Springfield Academy, Serampore
Springfield Academy in Serampur Uttarpara is seeking a dedicated PRT Dance Teacher to lead its vibrant dance programs. This role focuses on nurturing students’ creativity and physical coordination through structured dance classes, ensuring a fun yet disciplined learning environment.
You will design and deliver age-appropriate dance lessons, covering basics like ballet, contemporary, and folk styles. Daily class preparation includes lesson planning, student assessment, and adapting teaching methods to engage diverse learners. Your responsibilities also include organizing extracurricular dance events, such as performances and competitions, to boost school culture.
Ensure students follow safety protocols during movement-based activities and maintain a positive, inclusive atmosphere. Collaborate with the principal and other faculty to integrate dance into school programs, aligning with academic and extracurricular goals.
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least two years of teaching experience in dance or related subjects. A graduate background is required, though prior TET/CTET certification is not mandatory for this role. Salary for this position is Rs.13,000 to Rs.25,000 per month, with full-time employment.
