About Springfield Academy | Serampore

Welcome to Springfield Academy, tucked away on the first floor of D‑Cruze Garden Lane in the heart of Tarapukur, just a stone’s throw from Netaji More in Serampore, Hooghly. Our 2‑acre campus feels like a small town of its own, with bright classrooms that have smart boards, well‑equipped science labs, a modest sports field and a green footprint that earned us an Eco‑Friendly Initiative award from The Telegraph last year. The school opened its doors in 2018 under the stewardship of the CDA Education Trust, and we have been growing steadily ever since, adding new facilities and welcoming fresh faces each academic year.

Our students are a lively mix of boys and girls from Serampur, Uttarpara and the surrounding neighborhoods, all speaking English as the medium of instruction. They follow the ICSE and ISC curricula, and you’ll find them curious, eager to ask questions, and ready to roll up their sleeves for a lab experiment or a group project. The academic rhythm here is steady but demanding – we expect rigor, we celebrate improvement, and we give our learners the space to explore both the arts and the sciences. The teachers are the ones who keep the pulse of that rhythm, guiding classes through smart‑room lessons in the morning and then supervising clubs or sports in the afternoon.

If you join us, you’ll discover a community that values the everyday moments of teaching as much as the big milestones. The staff lounge is a place where ideas bounce off one another, and the administration makes a point of listening to what you need to make your classroom work better. With a manageable campus size, you’ll have the chance
