Physical Education Teacher Position at Springfield Academy
Springfield Academy in Serampur Uttarpara invites applications for a PRT Physical Education Teacher role. This position focuses on delivering structured physical education classes to students, ensuring they develop fundamental motor skills, teamwork, and discipline through sports and fitness activities.
The teacher will conduct daily PE sessions, including games like cricket, basketball, and athletics, tailored to age-appropriate learning. Daily physical activities will be organized to promote health, coordination, and sportsmanship among students. You will also assist in organizing school sports events and competitions, ensuring fair play and adherence to rules.
A strong command of sports and fitness techniques is essential. Previous experience in teaching PE or managing sports programs will be beneficial. The role requires a graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed, and while TET/CTET is preferred, it is not mandatory.
This is a full-time position offering a monthly salary of Rs.13,000 to Rs.25,000, with the opportunity to contribute directly to Springfield Academy’s focus on holistic student development.
