PRT Science Teacher Position at Springfield Academy, Serampore
Springfield Academy in Serampur Uttarpara is seeking a dedicated PRT Science Teacher to join their team. This role focuses on teaching science to students in the primary section, ensuring engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping young minds through hands-on experiments, interactive lessons, and practical applications of scientific concepts.
The primary responsibilities include delivering science lessons aligned with the curriculum, preparing engaging teaching materials, and assessing student understanding through assessments. You will also assist in classroom management, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students. Collaboration with other teachers and administrative staff will be essential to support academic and extracurricular activities.
To qualify, you must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree along with a graduate degree in science. A minimum of two years of teaching experience in a science-related subject is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory for this role, it is highly beneficial. The salary for this full-time position ranges from Rs.13,000 to Rs.25,000 per month.
