Planning and conducting weekly music classes, including group performances and recitals to build confidence and artistic expression.
Collaborating with the school’s arts committee to organize cultural festivals, concerts, and music workshops.
Maintaining curriculum materials, grading assignments, and tracking student progress to support academic growth.
Qualification and Experience
A postgraduate degree in Music Education or a related field is essential. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is required for formal teaching certification.
Minimum four years of teaching experience in music or related subjects, preferably in a school environment.
Strong knowledge of Indian classical, folk, and contemporary music traditions is highly preferred.
Familiarity with state-level teaching certifications like TET or CTET is beneficial but not mandatory.
Compensation and Location
The selected candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000.
