Qualifications and Eligibility
Hold a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is required, along with at least two years of teaching experience in mathematics at the secondary level. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory for this role, it will be considered favorably.
Teaching Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the curriculum for classes 6 to 12. Develop lesson plans that incorporate interactive methods, real-world applications, and differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs. Ensure effective classroom management to maintain a positive learning environment.
Curriculum and Assessment
Prepare and implement unit-wise assessments, including quizzes, projects, and practical examinations. Use standardized evaluation tools to track student progress and identify areas requiring additional support. Collaborate with the academic team to refine teaching strategies based on assessment outcomes.
Student Support and Engagement
Act as a mentor or guide to students struggling with mathematics concepts. Provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring sessions to address individual learning gaps. Foster a supportive atmosphere where students feel encouraged to ask questions and take ownership of their academic growth.
Administrative and Coordination Tasks
Assist in organizing mathematics-related school events, competitions, and extracurricular activities. Work closely with other teachers to ensure smooth coordination of shared resources, such as textbooks, lab equipment, or digital learning tools. Participate in departmental meetings to discuss teaching methodologies and curriculum updates.
