Job Overview
Hemkund Public School seeks a skilled TGT Sanskrit Teacher to join its faculty for the teaching of Sanskrit to students in grades 6-12. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and contributing to the development of the school's Sanskrit curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Sanskrit lessons to students in grades 6-12.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and modify instructional strategies as needed.
- Develop and implement the school's Sanskrit curriculum, ensuring alignment with national and state guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive learning environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and other professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement co-curricular activities that promote Sanskrit language and culture.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
Eligibility Criteria
- Postgraduate degree in Sanskrit or a related field from a recognized university.
- B.Ed./D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized institution.
- TET/CTET certification is desirable but not mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a recognized school or institution.
- Strong knowledge of Sanskrit language, literature, and grammar.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
