Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir in Suriya/Bagodar, Giridih, Jharkhand, seeks a dedicated NTT Environmental Studies (EVS) Teacher to deliver hands-on, experiential learning in classrooms and outdoor settings. This role focuses on integrating real-world science concepts into daily activities, ensuring students grasp ecological principles through direct engagement. The teacher will design engaging lessons that connect classroom theory to practical applications, fostering curiosity about nature, sustainability, and environmental stewardship.

Fieldwork—such as gardening projects, waste management initiatives, and nature walks—will be a key part of the daily routine. The teacher will also assess student understanding through projects, presentations, and observations, ensuring a balanced mix of theory and experiential learning.
A graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is essential, along with at least two years of teaching experience, preferably in EVS or environmental science. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, prior experience in designing hands-on science activities would be highly beneficial. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.10,000 to Rs.15,000 per month, along with the opportunity to work in a supportive, child-centered learning environment in Jharkhand.
