Job Description
PRT Dance Teacher Position at Delhi Public School, Giridih
Teaching dance classes to students in classes I to VIII, ensuring age-appropriate techniques and cultural relevance. Conducting structured dance drills, warm-ups, and choreography sessions aligned with school curriculum standards. Maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all students to explore movement and rhythm.
Guiding students through fundamental dance forms like Bharatanatyam, Kathak, or contemporary styles while adapting lessons to their skill levels. Assisting in organizing school dance events, performances, and festivals to showcase student talent. Collaborating with the physical education department to integrate dance into broader school activities.
Graduating with at least a Bachelor’s degree in Dance or related field. Possessing a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification preferred. Minimum two years of relevant teaching or dance training experience. No TET/CTET certification required but preferred for better classroom integration.
