About This Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced PRT Dance Teacher to join our team at Modern Public School in Ramgarh, Jharkhand. As a Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching dance to students of all ages and abilities, and for developing and implementing engaging and inclusive dance programs that meet the needs of our students. Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver dance lessons to students of all ages and abilities
- Develop and implement engaging and inclusive dance programs that meet the needs of our students
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a well-rounded education for our students
- Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
- Develop and implement assessments and evaluations for dance students
- Provide feedback and guidance to students on their dance performances
- Participate in school events and performances, such as dance competitions and cultural programs
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in Dance or a related field, and a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A TET or CTET qualification is desirable but not essential. You will also need to have at least 2 years of experience teaching dance in a school setting.
