To qualify, candidates must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Sociology or a related field. A strong academic background in Sociology, preferably with a master’s degree, is mandatory. Three years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, will be highly beneficial. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an added advantage. Experience in teaching Sociology at the higher secondary level is preferred.
