Role Summary
S.b. Inter College Bartuwa invites applications for the PRT Dance Vacancy in Ranchi. The position is a full-time Dance PRT Job in Ranchi for freshers who can contribute to the performing arts curriculum at the college level. Guidance from senior faculty will be provided to help new teachers adapt to the academic environment.
What You Will Do
Teach foundational and intermediate dance techniques to undergraduate students in Ormanjhi, Ranchi. Plan weekly lesson plans aligned with UGC norms and college academic calendar. Assist in organizing college cultural fests and inter-college dance competitions.
Under the mentorship of senior faculty, conduct regular assessments of student performances. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their choreography and execution. Coordinate with the arts department to integrate dance history and theory into practical sessions.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Dance with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university. NET/SET qualified candidates will be preferred for this PRT Dance Position in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Freshers with strong practical skills and willingness to pursue Ph.D. registration will be considered.
Candidates with prior teaching experience or participation in national-level dance workshops will have an advantage. Knowledge of Indian classical, folk, or contemporary dance forms is essential. Familiarity with UGC-recognized syllabi for undergraduate dance programs is desirable.
Learning and Development
S.b. Inter College Bartuwa encourages teachers to register for Ph.D. programs within three years of joining. Support for research funding and leave approvals will be provided as per UGC guidelines. Career progression to Assistant Professor or Associate Professor is possible for dedicated candidates.
The college offers opportunities to present papers at national seminars and publish research in UGC-listed journals. Workshops on modern choreography and digital documentation of performances will be organized periodically.
Salary and Benefits
The Dance Academic Job in Ormanjhi, Ranchi offers a monthly salary between Rs.18,000 and Rs.30,000. Accommodation support may be available for outstation candidates. Medical reimbursement and PF contributions are provided as per college policies.
