Monitor student progress during class and address any difficulties promptly. Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and collaboration.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and review teaching resources, including worksheets, puzzles, and problem-solving tasks aligned with the curriculum. Collaborate with senior teachers to share best practices and adapt teaching methods for different grade levels. Participate in departmental meetings to discuss lesson plans, student performance trends, and academic strategies. Ensure compliance with school policies on attendance, discipline, and extracurricular activities.
Periodic Responsibilities
Attend parent-teacher interactions to discuss student progress and address concerns. Organize and participate in school events such as mathematics competitions, science fairs, or inter-house events to promote engagement. Conduct periodic assessments to gauge student comprehension and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a minimum of three years of teaching experience in Mathematics. Possession of a TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory. A graduate degree in Mathematics or a related field is essential. Strong communication skills, patience, and a commitment to student development are highly valued.
