Indian Public School

I’ve been sending my kids to Indian Public School for the past seven years, and I can tell you why most families around Chandwe Chowk in Ranchi keep coming back. The school follows the CBSE curriculum from Class 1 right up to Class 12, so the academic schedule is exactly what we expect from a mainstream board, but they add a few things that make the day‑to‑day learning feel more engaging. Smart classrooms with interactive boards are the norm, and the science and computer labs are well‑equipped, so the children get to do real experiments rather than just reading from a textbook. Even the younger ones in nursery and primary get a solid foundation, which gives us confidence that they’re not missing any basics.

What impressed me most is the kind of teachers they bring on board. Most of them have degrees in their subjects and have gone through the CBSE training modules, but they also seem genuinely interested in each child’s progress. You’ll notice they ask about the kids’ interests, not just their grades, and they’re quick to give extra help if someone is struggling. Many of the teachers are from the local area, so they understand the community’s culture, yet they’re comfortable using the latest teaching tools. It feels like a good mix of experience and fresh ideas.

The school isn’t just about books. There’s a dedicated prayer space on campus, and the administration makes sure that moral and Islamic values are woven into the routine without overwhelming the academic side. Sports fields, a small auditorium and regular co‑curricular clubs keep the children active and give them a chance to discover talents beyond the classroom. The environment feels safe, and the staff are approachable, which is a big relief for parents who can’t be on the premises all day.

All these factors combine to make Indian Public School a place where families feel their children are in good hands. The Evergreen Education & Medicare Foundation runs it, and they’ve managed to keep the fees reasonable while still investing
