TGT Physical Education Teacher Position at Sourendra Mohini Public School, Kanke
Teach Physical Education across various grades at Sourendra Mohini Public School in Kanke, Ranchi. Develop and implement age-appropriate sports and fitness programs to enhance students’ physical health and motor skills. Design and conduct extracurricular activities like games, sports, and fitness workshops to foster teamwork and discipline.
Plan and supervise daily physical activities, including drills, team sports, and individual exercises. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all sports and fitness sessions. Collaborate with the school management to align PE curriculum with national education standards.
Assess students’ physical abilities through standardized tests and provide constructive feedback. Maintain records of student participation, progress, and achievements in physical activities. Organize inter-house and inter-school sports events to promote healthy competition.
Teach basic principles of nutrition, hydration, and injury prevention in a fun and engaging manner. Work closely with parents and other teachers to integrate physical education into overall school life. Ensure classrooms and sports facilities are well-maintained and safe for use.
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or equivalent, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Four years of relevant teaching experience in Physical Education at the secondary or higher secondary level is mandatory. Experience in shaping young minds through sports and fitness is highly valued.
