Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging Sanskrit lessons for classes 6 to 8, aligning with the school curriculum and state guidelines.
- Prepare teaching aids, worksheets, and interactive activities that encourage student participation and deepen understanding of Sanskrit grammar, literature, and culture.
- Conduct regular assessments, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Mentor and support junior teachers in adopting effective Sanskrit teaching strategies.
- Organise and supervise extracurricular Sanskrit events, such as debates, recitation contests, and cultural programs, fostering a love for classical languages.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate Sanskrit concepts across subjects, enhancing interdisciplinary learning.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and community outreach initiatives.
- Ensure classroom management practices promote a respectful and focused learning environment.
- Keep updated with contemporary Sanskrit teaching methodologies and incorporate them into daily lessons.
- Engage with parents through periodic communication, sharing student achievements and areas for improvement.
Qualification and experience
Post graduate in Sanskrit or related field required. B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory; TET/CTET preferred. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting. Demonstrated proficiency in Sanskrit grammar, literature, and instruction techniques. Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators.
Salary and location
Rs.25,000 – Rs.45,000 per month. Full‑time position located at Sarala Birla Public School, Rahe, Ranchi, Jharkhand.
