Role Introduction

Madhusudhan Public School in West Singhbhum, Jharkhand is looking for a full‑time TGT English Teacher. The candidate will be responsible for delivering the English curriculum to secondary classes and fostering a love for language among students.

Responsibilities

- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons for classes IX and X in accordance with the CBSE/State syllabus.
- Conduct regular assessments, evaluate answer scripts and provide constructive feedback to improve student performance.
- Develop supplementary learning material, worksheets and projects that enhance reading, writing and speaking skills.
- Organize co‑curricular activities such as debates, elocution competitions and literary clubs to promote confidence and creativity.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, lesson plans and progress reports as per school policies.
- Collaborate with senior faculty and school management to align teaching strategies with overall academic goals.
- Mentor and support students requiring extra help, offering remedial classes and personalized guidance.
- Use digital tools and classroom technology to make lessons interactive and relevant.
- Participate in parent‑teacher meetings, providing clear updates on student progress and areas for improvement.
- Uphold school discipline, values and safety standards while creating an inclusive classroom environment.

Qualification, Experience, Salary, Location

The role requires a postgraduate degree in English along with B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting; TET/CTET qualification is preferred but not mandatory. The remuneration offered is Rs.18,000 – Rs.34,000 per month. The position is based in West Singhbhum, Jharkhand, and is a full‑time appointment.
