PGT Physical Education Teacher – National Public School, Bengaluru Urban
National Public School in Bengaluru Urban is looking for a full‑time PGT Physical Education Teacher. The role involves delivering the Physical Education curriculum to senior classes and fostering a healthy, active environment for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct and assess Physical Education lessons for classes XI and XII as per NCERT guidelines.
- Organize sports events, inter‑school competitions and co‑curricular activities.
- Maintain equipment, ensure safety standards and keep accurate records of student progress.
- Collaborate with senior staff to integrate fitness and wellness initiatives across the school.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Post‑graduate qualification in Physical Education or related field.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed is essential; TET/CTET preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of Indian sports, fitness programs and student mentorship.
Salary
- Rs.38,000 – Rs.60,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
