You will use a blend of classroom demonstrations, laboratory experiments, and digital resources to make concepts accessible and exciting. Assessment of student progress through quizzes, projects, and practicals will be integral, and you will provide constructive feedback to help each student grow. Collaboration with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects and school events, such as science fairs and community outreach, is expected. Maintaining a safe and clean laboratory environment, managing lab inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols are key duties. Additionally, you will participate in professional development workshops and contribute to curriculum reviews to keep our science programs current and innovative.
Qualification and experience
The ideal candidate holds a graduate degree and a B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification. TET or CTET is preferred but not mandatory. Two years of teaching experience in a school setting is required, with a proven track record of creating engaging science lessons. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are essential. A passion for mentoring students and a willingness to collaborate with colleagues will set you apart.
Salary and location
Global City International School offers a competitive salary ranging from Rs.17,000 to Rs.33,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
