Role
Global City International School is looking for a TGT English Teacher to join its vibrant campus in Bengaluru Urban. The position involves delivering the English curriculum to middle and high school classes, fostering reading, writing and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging English lessons aligned with state and school guidelines. Assess student progress through tests, projects and oral presentations, providing constructive feedback. Participate in departmental meetings, parent‑teacher interactions and school events that promote a love for language.
Qualification
Candidates must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree. Completion of TET or CTET is preferred. A postgraduate degree in English or related discipline adds value.
Experience
Minimum two years of teaching experience in a school setting, handling classes from standards VI to XII, is required. Experience with interactive teaching tools and co‑curricular activities is desirable.
Compensation
Salary ranges from Rs.22,000 to Rs.44,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
