To qualify, the candidate must hold a postgraduate degree in Botany or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Three years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably in botany or science, is essential. While TET/CTET certifications are not mandatory, they will be an added advantage. Experience in Karnataka’s curriculum or working with high school students is highly desirable.
