Job Description
Responsibilities
1. Deliver the Karnataka State Chemistry syllabus to TGT classes with clear explanations and practical demonstrations.
2. Prepare lesson plans, worksheets and lab experiments aligned with CBSE/ICSE standards as required.
3. Conduct regular assessments, evaluate answer scripts and provide constructive feedback to students.
4. Maintain laboratory safety, manage chemicals and ensure proper usage of equipment.
5. Coordinate with senior staff for co‑curricular activities and science fairs in Kalaburagi.
6. Mentor students for chemistry Olympiads and district level competitions.
7. Update class records, attendance and progress reports in the school management system.
8. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops and parent‑teacher interactions.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must hold a postgraduate degree in Chemistry along with B.Ed or D.El.Ed. A minimum of three years of teaching experience at the TGT level is essential. Candidates possessing TET or CTET certification will be given preference. Strong communication skills in English and Kannada, along with proven classroom management abilities, are required.
Salary and location
The position offers a salary of Rs.18,000 - Rs.32,000 per month and is located in Kalaburagi, Karnataka, at Lr Cambridge School.
